Structural requirements:
1. The optical cable should consist of two main parts: the cable core and the protective layer, which includes a sheath and an outer protective layer.
2. The optical cable should be a full cross-section water blocking structure, which means that water cannot penetrate longitudinally in the cable core and protective layer, except for the steel wire armor part.
3. Optical cable products of the same batch and plastic specification should have the same structural arrangement and identification chromatography.
4. The cable core usually includes a central reinforcement component, a loose fiber optic winding layer (including possible filling ropes), possible zip ties, strapping, inner lining, etc.
5. The coating structure and stripping force, fiber strength screening level, dynamic fatigue parameter nd value, mode field diameter and size parameters, cutoff wavelength, macro bending loss and dispersion of single-mode optical fibers used for cabling shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB/T9771.
6. High strength single round steel wire is recommended for metal reinforced components, and l × 7 single strand steel wire rope composed of high-strength steel wire can also be used. High strength steel wire should be stainless steel wire or phosphated steel wire, and its surface should be round and smooth. The Young's modulus of a single steel wire should not be less than 190GPa, and the effective Young's modulus of a steel wire rope should not be less than 170GPa. Metal reinforcement components are not allowed to have joints within the manufacturing length of optical cables.
7. The outer protective layer consists of an armor layer and a jacket. The outer jacket should be a black polyethylene jacket, made of linear low-density, medium density, or high-density polyethylene sheath material, and should comply with GB 15065 or YD/T1485 regulations, respectively. The 33 type outer protective layer optical cable should be coated with a spiral layer twisted thin round galvanized steel wire armor layer outside the sheath, and then extruded with a black polyethylene sheath outside the armor layer. The steel wire armor layer should be protected against corrosion by coating, filling, or (and) immersion methods. The diameter of the steel wire should be selected between 0.8mm and 2.9mm. The nominal thickness of the polyethylene sleeve is 2.0mm, and the * * value should not be less than 1.6mm. The average value on any cross-section should not be less than 1.8mm.
8. The outer diameter of the optical cable should not exceed 20mm.
9. The surface of the optical cable is smooth and flawless, with a uniform roundness and no irregular shapes such as diamonds or ellipses.
