Directly buried pipeline armored optical cable GYTA 48 core outdoor single-mode communication transmission twisted fiber optic cable

1、 Specific characteristics of single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables:

      1. The center glass core of single-mode optical cable (9/125) is very thin (with a core diameter of generally 9 or 10 μ m), and can only transmit light of one mode. Therefore, its mode to mode dispersion is very small and suitable for remote communication, but there are still material dispersion and waveguide dispersion. Therefore, single-mode fibers have high requirements for the spectral width and stability of the light source, that is, the spectral width should be narrow and the stability should be good!

      2. Single mode fiber optic cable is generally used in long-distance transmission communication networks or monitoring equipment. Fiber optic cable solves the obstacle of long-distance monitoring and effectively implements 24-hour uninterrupted monitoring. Single mode fiber optic cable is currently the preferred product for networks or monitoring.

      3. Multimode fiber optic cable: There are basically two types of multimode fiber optic cables, one is graded and the other is stepped. For graded fiber optic cables, the refractive index of the core is small at the periphery of the core and gradually increases towards the center point, thereby reducing the mode dispersion of the signal. For stepped fiber optic cables, the refractive index is basically uniform and only suddenly decreases on the cladding surface. Stepped fibers generally have a lower bandwidth than graded fibers. In network applications, the popular multimode fiber is 62.5/125, which refers to a fiber core diameter of 62.5 μ m and a cladding diameter of 125 μ m, while the more common ones are 50/125 and 100/140.
