Description :
The structure of MGTS optical cable is to embed 250um optical fiber into a loose tube made of high modulus material, and fill the loose tube with waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metal reinforced core, and for some fiber optic cables with a certain number of cores, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to be extruded outside the metal reinforced core. The loose tube (and filling rope) is twisted around the central reinforcement core to form a compact and circular cable core, and the gaps inside the cable core are filled with water-resistant filling material. Double sided coated steel strip (PSP) is longitudinally wrapped and then extruded with a layer of flame-retardant sheath, followed by another layer of PVC sheath to form the cable.
