The structure of OPGW optical cable generally adopts aluminum tube type, aluminum skeleton type and (stainless) steel tube type structure. The structure of 24 core OPGW optical cable is to put 24 250 μ m optical fibers into a sleeve made of stainless steel, wrap aluminum clad steel wire (AS wire) around the sleeve, and wrap aluminum alloy wire (AA wire) layer on the outer layer to form a cable.
