5. Distribution of ADSS optical cables

The factors that affect disk allocation include:
(1) Due to the fact that ADSS optical cables cannot be arbitrarily spliced like ordinary optical cables (because the fiber core of the optical fiber cannot withstand force), they must be spliced on the tension tower of the line. Additionally, due to poor conditions at the field splicing point, the length of each fiber optic cable reel should be controlled within 3-5km as much as possible. (2) In addition to the length of the transmission line being the main basis for the length of the optical cable reel, the natural conditions between the towers should also be considered, such as whether the traction machine can travel conveniently and whether the tension machine can be placed.
(3) Due to errors in line design, the following empirical formula can be used for the distribution of optical cables:
Fiber optic cable reel length=transmission line length x coefficient+construction consideration length+length for fusion splicing+line error;
Usually, the "coefficient" includes the sag of the line, the length of the overhead line on the tower, etc. The length considered for construction is the length used for traction during construction.
(4) The distance between the ADSS fiber optic cable hanging point and the ground is generally not less than 7m. When determining the distribution, the span difference should be simplified to reduce the types of fiber optic cables, which can reduce the number of spare parts (such as various hanging fittings configured) and facilitate construction.
