　　The ADSS optical cable adopts a loose layer twisted structure, in which 250 μ m optical fibers are inserted into a loose tube made of high modulus material, and waterproof compounds are filled inside the loose tube. The loose tube (and filling rope) is twisted around the non-metallic center reinforcement core (FRP) to form a compact cable core, and the gaps in the cable core are filled with water-resistant grease. The cable core is extruded with a polyethylene (PE) inner sheath, then twisted with aramid for reinforcement, and finally extruded with a polyethylene (PE) outer sheath or an anti trace (AT) outer sheath.

　　adss cable is loose tube stranded. fibers, 250μm , are positioned into a loose tube made of high modulus plastics. the tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. the tubes (and fillers) are stranded around a frp (fiber reinforced plastic) as a non-metallic central strength member into a compact and circular cable core. after the cable core is filled with filling compound. it is covered with thin pe (polyethylene) inner sheath. after stranded layer of aramid yarns are applied over the inner sheath as strength member, the cable is completed with pe or at (anti-tracking) outer sheath.
