This article conducts simulation analysis and evaluation of the overall driving smoothness of two types of suspensions, steel plate spring and air suspension. The results show that the overall driving smoothness of air suspension is better than that of steel plate spring suspension, proving that matching air suspension on semi-trailer is feasible and meaningful.
