Later, Miaoshan's actions moved Shakyamuni, so he gave her back a thousand hands and eyes, which later became the Great Master Guanyin.

　　The common stone carvings of Thousand Hand Avalokitesvara are mostly made with thirty-two or forty-eight hands to show the thirty-two transformations and forty-eight great wishes of Avalokitesvara. The other hands are represented in the form of backlighting to achieve the meaning of "thousand". On each hand of the Thousand Armed Avalokitesvara, various objects are held, such as the sun, moon, precious sword, auspicious pearl, vase, lotus flower, and mirror. The Thousand Hands of Guanyin are arranged in a fan-shaped pattern with several layers, like a peacock opening its screen, which is very spectacular.
