PEI raw material EFL-4030 Sabah basic spot
Polyetherimide (PEI) is an amorphous amber to transparent thermoplastic with properties similar to the related plastic PEEK.
Compared to PEEK, PEI is cheaper, but has lower impact strength and usable temperature.
1. Physical properties:
Non crystalline type; Good dimensional stability; Low creep sensitivity; The coefficient of thermal expansion is small and uniform; Excellent strength to weight ratio; Excellent anti staining performance; Compliant with FDA and NSF
2. Heat resistance:
High temperature stability; High long-term heat resistance, with a thermal deformation temperature of up to 220 ℃; The glass transition temperature (Tg) is 217 ℃, the HDT/Ae is 190 ℃, and it can be used for a long time at a working temperature of -160 to 180 ℃. The allowable intermittent use temperature is 200 ℃; Thermal conductivity of 0.22W/m/K.
