From south to north, there are many sand and gravel processing enterprises. In recent years, due to environmental protection policies, the old style coal-fired drying is no longer allowed to be used. The use of fuel and gas drying has increased the cost by 3 to 4 times. Although it meets environmental protection requirements, the increased drying costs greatly compress the profit margins of sand and gravel enterprises, especially with the high volatility of natural gas prices in various regions, making drying costs an uncontrollable factor. The use of biomass burners paired with dryers to burn biomass pellet fuels, replacing traditional coal-fired drying, has become one of the methods to alleviate the increased cost of sand and gravel drying. It has been successfully applied in many sand and gravel mining enterprises.
