      1、 Purpose:

    UV aging test chamberSimulate the damage caused by solar ultraviolet light, and conduct weather resistance testing on the tested material by exposing it to controlled high-temperature light. It uses ultraviolet lamps to simulate the radiation effect of sunlight, and simulates dew and rain through condensation and water spraying. In just a few days or weeks, the ultraviolet irradiation equipment can withstand the damage that takes months or even years to occur outdoors, including fading, color changes, loss of luster, powdering, cracking, wrinkling, foaming, brittleness, strength reduction, oxidation, etc. Its test results can be used to select new materials, improve existing materials, or change material formulations.

      4、 Three major systems

      4.1 Radiation system (simulated sunlight):

      Light source: 8 imported ultraviolet fluorescent lamps (ATLAS, USA) with a rated power of 40W, available in UVA-340 and UVB-313 light sources for users to choose from.

      4.2 Condensation system (simulated dew):

      The QUV condensation system essentially confines the evaporated water vapor within the experimental chamber template. During the condensation cycle, water is heated by the heating element in the water tray, and the test chamber is filled with water vapor, reaching equilibrium at 100% humidity. The water vapor continuously condenses on the sample and flows back into the water tray.

      4.3 Sprinkler system (simulated rainwater):

      The QUV sprinkler system consists of a high-power water pump, 5 nozzles (4 on each side), connecting pipes, control valves, and drainage parts. The nozzle is installed between the lamp tubes, and in the spray cycle, water is sprayed onto the sample to produce thermal shock or erosion effects.
