1.2 Placement time
The force measuring instrument should be placed for a sufficient period of time under the calibration conditions to ensure that the temperature is the same as and hidden under the calibration conditions. The recommended placement time for the force gauge is not less than 8 hours.
During the verification process, there should be no vibration, impact, electromagnetic field, or other interference sources around that could affect the verification results
1.4 Preheating
Verify that the corresponding variable force measuring instrument (or other force measuring instruments with power supply system) is powered on and preheated. The preheating time should comply with the manufacturer's regulations.
Note: The manufacturer does not specify the preheating time for the force gauge, which is generally preheated for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
1.5 Loading conditions
The installation of the force measuring instrument should ensure that its main axis coincides with the loading axis of the force base (standard) machine.
1.5.2 Compression force gauges should generally be equipped with upper and lower pressure pads. The supporting surface and bottom surface of the force measuring instrument should be flat and free from rust, scratches, and debris.
1.5.3 Suitable connectors should be used at both ends of the tensile force measuring instrument, and the connectors should ensure that the force base (standard) machine can safely apply axial force to the force measuring instrument.
1.6 Verification equipment
The principle of expanding the uncertainty of the force value of the force base (standard) machine or loading device for verifying various levels of standard force measuring instruments is three times the long-term stability or indication error index of the tested force instrument.
