The extrusion die is a key component in biaxial stretching equipment, which directly determines the shape and thickness uniformity of the cast sheet. The straightness, roughness, and corner size of the lip of the casting die directly affect product quality. Through our experiments and demonstrations, it has been found that local hardening treatment of the lip can effectively improve the quality of the die. Such advantages as high surface hardness, refined metallographic structure, and better wear resistance than traditional quenching processes, and the hardened die lip can achieve good straightness and wear resistance.
