The extrusion production line mainly consists of an extruder, an extrusion head, a three roll calender, a trimming device, a cooling device, a cooling roller conveyor, a traction machine, and a cutting or coiling device. The main body of the extruded board generally has a diameter of over 90mm. The squeezing plate needs to be equipped with a diversion plate and a filter screen, and the number of layers and holes of the filter screen should be determined accordingly. The variety and product thickness of ABS plastic raw materials are determined.


The various forms of plate heads play a forming role in auxiliary machines. The three roll calender plays a role in shaping. In appearance, it is similar to a three roll calender, but it only has a cooling effect on ABS plastic sheets and does not have a stretching and forming effect. The three roll calender is composed of three cylindrical rollers with a diameter of 200-300mm, and the center of the rollers is supplied with heating and cooling media for reflux. The length of the roller should be slightly wider than the machine head, and the high surface finish and coating layer of the ABS plastic sheet form a high surface finish. The three roll calender also plays a role in pulling the extruded material in the production line. In order to prevent material wrinkling and reduce internal stress, the pulling speed of the stick is 1.1-1.25 times that of the extrusion line speed. The position of the three roll machine should be as close as possible to the machine head, usually 5-10cm away. If the distance is too large, the extruded material may sag, causing wrinkles, low surface glossiness, or due to the loss of a lot of heat and low temperature, the roller should not be attached.
There are two directions for the extruded material to be directed from the machine head to the three roll machine: horizontal and diagonal. The use of horizontal lead out is quite common, suitable for sheets and thick boards; The inclined lead out is suitable for thick plates and can avoid sagging of the plate. Horizontal induction can be introduced into a three roller machine from between the upper and middle rollers or between the middle and lower rollers. There is no essential difference between the two methods, only differences in operation mode and temperature control of the three rollers.
Setting of trimming device: Due to the difference in thickness between the two ends and the middle along the width direction of the board and sheet formed by the extrusion of ABS plastic from the machine head, it is necessary to use a trimming device to cut off the edges. The edge cutting device can be a rotating circular cutting blade or a circular saw blade. The cooling conveyor roller is set between the three roller machine and the traction machine, consisting of many small rollers with small diameters and no power transmission, which play a supporting role in the sheet metal. In this area, the sheet metal naturally dissipates heat and cools slowly. To ensure sufficient cooling of the board, the length of the cooling and conveying section is relatively long. The traction machine consists of two rollers, which are used to evenly pull the board or sheet to the cutting device, prevent material accumulation at the three rollers, and flatten the board to prevent bending. The cutting device cuts and trims ABS plastic products according to their length. Cut thick plates with circular cutting blades; Soft boards are often used with knives or cutting machines. After cooling, the soft boards are wound up by a winding device.
