Description :
1. Balanced type
Use pulleys and rigging to connect a balancing force, such as a counterweight or spring, located outside the container to a float located inside the container. When the float moves up and down with the liquid level, it drives the rigging, pulleys, counterweights, or springs to move together, and reads the liquid level outside the container by detecting the displacement or rotation during this movement.
This type of level gauge is commonly used in large storage tanks, including float level gauges, steel strip level gauges, etc.
2. Leveraged type
Set a lever and place the fulcrum on the container wall, fix the float at one end of the lever located on the inside of the container, and when the float moves up and down with the liquid level, it drives the other end of the lever located outside the container to move, or drives the fulcrum to rotate. By detecting the displacement or angle during this movement, the liquid level outside the container can be read.
This type of liquid level gauge has strong resistance to external forces and high reliability due to its structural characteristics, so it is commonly used on mobile containers or made into liquid level switches. Common ones include: marine level gauges, float switches, etc.

3. Linkage type
Install a connecting rod on the upper part of the float, which drives the connecting rod to move up and down synchronously when the float moves up and down, and reads the liquid level at the upper end of the connecting rod.
This type of liquid level gauge is suitable for measuring liquid levels below the operating height of personnel (such as underground water tanks).
4. Guide rod type
Make the float into a ring and place it on a guide rod. The float moves up and down along the guide rod as the liquid level changes. A permanent magnetic object is placed inside the float, and a magnetic sensing element is installed inside the guide rod. The magnetic sensing element detects the position of the float and converts it into an electrical signal output representing the liquid level corresponding to it.
This type of liquid level gauge performs well when there is intense movement of the medium inside the container, and has the characteristic of simple structure when only remote signal transmission is required without on-site liquid level scale indication. At the same time, it is currently one of the most commonly named types of "float level gauges".
5. Connected pipe type
Set up a vertical pipe on the outside of the container, which is connected to the container vertically through the pipe. According to the principle of connecting pipes, when there is liquid in the container, the liquid will enter the vertical pipe and be at the same height as the liquid level inside the container. At this point, if a float is installed in the pipeline, the position of the float can reflect the liquid level inside the container.
This type of liquid level gauge is not affected by the horizontal movement of the liquid inside the container due to the float being set outside the container. So it has good adaptability and can achieve high measurement accuracy in more application environments.
