Nowadays, there is an art form that uses weathering board to make sculptures, which aims to achieve this rusting effect. Outsiders may think that non-metallic sculptures have rusted when they see it, but in fact, it is not.

　　Generally, sculptures made with weather resistant panels are relatively simple, such as silhouette sculptures, three-dimensional characters, etc. Some large and complex sculptures are usually made of stainless steel. Due to the special nature of weather resistant panels, their application in sculpture is not widespread, as modern sculpture has increasingly high requirements for color.
