Production Process 1.1 Raw Material Selection Raw materials are the basic conditions for producing anti-corrosion steel pipes, and their quality generally depends not only on their appearance, but also on the strength, toughness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance of the steel pipes. Steel pipes are commonly used to manufacture pollution-free steel for construction, chemical plants, transportation pipelines, and pipeline engineering.

　　For special purpose steel pipes and structural steel pipes, full diameter or small-diameter spiral welded steel pipes should be used, and coupling hot-rolled or cold-rolled ribbed spiral welded steel pipes can also be used. Both galvanized and color coated steel pipes require high plasticity, toughness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance in addition to their appearance, strength, and elasticity. Therefore, the correct selection of steel pipes is the key to the production quality of anti-corrosion steel pipes, and it is also a basic step in choosing reliable anti-corrosion steel pipes. There are two simple methods here. But for steel pipes with a diameter dn ≤ 2000mm, due to the large amount of bubbles during the welding process, in order to prevent the bubbles from moving along the pipe wall, the welding area generally needs to be polished flat. The wall thickness after welding should meet the specified requirements. When the pipe diameter dn is ≤ 2000mm, internal anti-corrosion treatment is generally not required.
